History of the House

Believe it or not - this is how the property looked in 2004 when it was aquired by a young English couple as a future family holiday home.

The property dates back to the 15th Century, being one of the most prestigious homes in the area. The property also houses La Scuola, the old school house (still a ruin), and a small chapel.

The reconstruction was a 3 year process, finished in winter 2007/08. Only local Umbrian craftsmen were involved.
